Meet our TEAM
My commitment to immigration law is deeply personal. Both of my parents fled Cuba in the 1960s in search of freedom and opportunity after enduring 18 months in forced-labor camps operated by the Cuban government. Like many immigrants, they sacrificed everything they knew to build a better future for their family in the United States.
Growing up in Miami, Florida, I was surrounded by immigrant communities from Cuba and around the world. I witnessed firsthand the determination, resilience, and contributions that immigrants bring to our country. Seeing the positive impact that immigrants have made on American society shaped my understanding of the importance of immigration and ultimately inspired my decision to pursue a career in immigration law.
At the Law Offices of James Reyes, this commitment extends beyond me. Every member of our team has a personal immigration story or a close family connection to the immigrant experience that has shaped who they are and why they do this work.
